Google Business Profile

Your next customer is deciding right now, on their phone, and not on your website.

They searched... the map popped up... and they tapped whoever looked open and worth calling. That whole decision happens on your Google profile. For a lot of people... the website never comes into it. We keep that profile alive... and built from what your best customers already love about you... so the one deciding right there picks you. It's the most important page you own... and probably the one you haven't opened in a year.

Set it up once

Chances are you set it up once. Then you got busy.

You probably claimed it, verified the postcard, typed in your hours... dropped in a few photos off your phone. Then you got back to running the business... which is the whole point.

That was... years ago.

The hours might be wrong. The photos are whatever you happened to upload that afternoon. And there's a good chance you've never posted to it... not once.

Meanwhile... this is the kind of thing your customers are saying about you, sitting unread in your reviews:

"I called at seven in the morning not expecting a soul, and he picked up and walked me through what to check before he'd even gotten in the truck."

And while it sat there... it became the busiest page you own. More people look at it than ever see your website... and it isn't close.

Your profile today. Set up once, untouched since.
Where people decide

This is now where people decide, not your website.

This isn't a hunch about how you shop. Around seven in ten people use Google to find a local business, and close to half of them tap a result right off the map.

Watch how you do it yourself. Phone in hand, you search for what you need with "near me" on the end. Up comes a map with a few businesses pinned on it. You tap one. Photos... hours... reviews... a post if there is one. You get a feel for the place, and a lot of the time you decide right there. You call, or you tap for directions. You rarely open the website at all.

Three results, one tap. Usually whoever looks open and worth calling.

That's your customers too... finding you.

Your Google profile isn't the sign on the door anymore. It's the door, the window, and the person standing out front telling people what it's like inside. The website - the thing you probably spent the most on - has slid into second.

And Google is watching that profile for a pulse. Fresh posts... fresh photos... real answers: that reads as a business that's open and busy, and Google puts you in front of more people nearby.

A recent local-search report found that just whether you're open when someone searches is now one of the top few things deciding who Google shows. So even out-of-date hours can cost you the spot.

The 2026 update made that count even more. Google now reads your profile, your reviews, your social, and your site as one... and a dead profile drags the whole thing down with it.

The cost of sitting still

So a profile doing nothing isn't safe. It's losing you the customer who was ready to call.

What we do instead

What we do instead.

Before we touch the profile, we go to your best customers.

Your customers' own words From your reviews, and how they describe you.
Your Brand Anchor Toolkit One place it all gets written from.
Everything on your profile Posts, photos, the description, the answers.

We pull what they already say about you... in their reviews... in the way they describe you when a friend asks who to call... and we build it into one toolkit: your Brand Anchor Toolkit. Everything on your profile gets written from that.

So it stops reading like a phone-book entry and starts sounding like the business your regulars already know. The photos, the posts, the description, the answers to the questions people actually ask, all of it carrying the one thing your customers keep bringing up about you. The out-of-the-ordinary thing you do without thinking... because to you, it's just how you treat people.

It's already sitting in your reviews... in the things people write without you ever asking.

"They pulled my file from three years back and remembered the whole thing."

You'd never think to put that on your profile yourself. To you... it's just Tuesday. To the stranger reading it on their phone... it's the reason to tap call.

Here's what that does. Someone a couple of miles away searches for what you do, and your profile comes up awake... recent... and unmistakably you. They read a line that sounds less like a business describing itself and more like a neighbor pointing them your way:

"She talked me out of the bigger job because I didn't actually need it. Who does that?"

Half a second... and they feel it before they've thought it through... that's who I want. And they haven't even seen your website.

Not just sitting there

A profile that doesn't just sit there.

A Google profile is a stack of things: posts, photos, the description, the hours, the questions people leave, and your reviews. Leave it alone and the pieces drift apart, and to someone deciding in ten seconds, that reads as a business that isn't quite sure of itself.

1
Hours

Open when they search, or the click goes to whoever is.

2
Photos

Fresh, real photos read as a business that's active.

3
Posts

A recent post is the pulse Google rewards.

4
Description

Your customers' words, not a phone-book blurb.

5
Q & A

The questions people actually ask, answered up front.

6
Reviews

A steady stream, answered with care.

We run it as the hub it is. Everything on it pulls from the same Brand Anchor Toolkit your social posts, your articles, and your website pull from. So the person who finds you on the map today and your Instagram tomorrow meets the same business both times. One story, wherever they look.

Reviews are a big piece of that profile, and they're their own part of the work... the steady stream of fresh ones and the careful way you answer them. That's the reputation side, and it runs off the same Toolkit.

Owners, in their own words

Owners running it, in their own words.

At first, I thought this was just going to be another content thing. We'd tried ads, we posted pretty consistently, but nothing really connected. Leads came in, but they didn't convert the way they should have.

The shift happened when everything started lining up. The messaging in the ads matched what people saw on Instagram, which matched what my team was saying on the phone. And you could feel it in the calls. People weren't asking basic questions anymore, they were already halfway sold.

I've gone back to that document more times than I expected.

We've pulled language from it into voicemail scripts, front desk conversations... even some printed materials.

It keeps showing up in places I didn't plan for.

What keeps them

Why owners stay.

It stops being one more thing you forget about.

Ten to fifteen minutes a month, a short questionnaire on your own time. The profile runs off your customers' words, not off you remembering to log in.

Your area is locked as yours alone.

One business per category per service area, locked when your trial starts. The profile is built around what makes your place the one to call, so running the same play for the shop across town would wreck it for both of you. So we don't.

Everything we build is yours from day one.

The Brand Anchor Toolkit, the posts, all of it. No licensing fine print, no clause that claws it back if you leave. If you walk, it walks with you.

No countdown timers, no "last chance" emails.

The open seat in your area is the only real reason to move, and that's enough on its own. We're not going to chase you.

The next step

When you're ready.

Picture it running. Someone nearby searches for what you do, and your profile comes up open... current... and clearly the business your best customers already love. They pick you from the map, on their phone... and don't think to look at anyone else. Some call right then. The rest file you away as the one to call when they need you.

The profile stays fresh on the rhythm Google rewards, and you never log in to post. The phone rings, the bookings show up in the bank, the kind you can track. Your area stays yours.

The other road is the one you're on now. Leave the profile sitting there... and nothing much changes... except the slow slide down the map. Watching us run a week of the work on your real profile costs you NOTHING.

It starts with a short, ten-minute call. We check that your area's open, that you've got real customers we can build from, and if it's a fit... you start the trial on the same call.

Common questions

Questions before you book.

Do you only work with one business per area?

Yes. We run for one business per category, per service area, and your zone locks at the start of your trial. While you hold it, the place across town in your category can't start with us. It keeps your Brand Anchor singular to you.

How much time does it take from me each month?

Ten to fifteen minutes, after the first questionnaire that builds your Brand Anchor. No weekly calls, no meetings to align on strategy. You hired this out so you could stop being the marketing person at your own company.

How do I see it before I commit?

The free 7-Day Jumpstart. We build your Brand Anchor and run it live on your real accounts for a week, so you watch the operation work before any paid commitment. What we build during the week is yours to keep, whether you continue or not. It starts with a ten-minute call to check whether your area is open.

Do you write the content, or do I?

We write it. You answer a short set of questions once a month, five to seven of them, ten to fifteen minutes on your own time, and that keeps your voice fresh in the work. Everything else, the writing, the posting, the Google profile, the review requests, runs on our side.

How is this different from hiring a social media manager or an SEO agency?

A social media manager fills your feed. An SEO agency chases rankings. Both can stay busy without the phone ringing in a way you can trace back to the spend. We start one step back, with the Brand Anchor, and run every channel off it, so the work compounds instead of running in parallel. The 2026 search algorithms reward that kind of coherence, and they've started penalizing volume-first posting.
